Messaging Terms

These terms govern the GridTally SMS notification program, operated by Gorman Field Services, LLC. By opting in you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy.

1. Who receives these messages

Messages go only to enrolled GridTally users — field employees whose accounts were created by an administrator at the company that employs them, and who have affirmatively opted in inside the app.

We do not send text messages to prospects, to purchased or rented lists, or to anyone who is not an enrolled user of the application. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages of any kind.

2. What we send

These are transactional, operational messages about your own work:

• Shift and clock-in reminders
• Reminders that a timesheet is missing or unsubmitted
• Schedule changes and job-site assignment updates
• Notice that a shift was automatically closed after being left open

Sample messages

• "GridTally: You're scheduled at Riverview Plaza today at 7:00 AM. Reply STOP to opt out."
• "GridTally: Your timesheet for the week ending 8/1 hasn't been submitted yet. Reply STOP to opt out."
• "GridTally: You're still clocked in from yesterday. Open the app to close out your shift. Reply STOP to opt out."

3. How often

Message frequency varies and depends on your schedule and your own activity in the app. In normal use most users receive a small number of messages per work week. We do not send messages on a fixed promotional cadence.

4. Cost

Message and data rates may apply. GridTally does not charge you for these messages, but your mobile carrier's standard rates for text and data still apply. Check your plan if you are unsure.

5. How you opt in

The GridTally SMS program has not launched yet — no messages have been sent to anyone, and no number is active. We are completing carrier registration before turning it on. When it launches, consent is collected inside the GridTally app: when setting up or editing your profile you will be asked to check an SMS consent box that reads:

The box is unchecked by default and must be checked deliberately. No message will ever be sent to a number until it has been. Consent is not a condition of employment and is not required to use GridTally — the app works normally with texts turned off.

6. How to stop messages

• Reply STOP to any message. You will receive one confirmation that no further messages will be sent, and then nothing more.
• Or clear the SMS consent checkbox in your GridTally profile.
• To resume later, reply START or check the box again.
• Or contact us directly using the details below and we will remove your number.

Opting out of text messages does not affect your account, your access to the app, or your employment.

8. Carriers and delivery

Delivery is subject to effective transmission by your mobile carrier and is not guaranteed. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Supported carriers may change without notice. Messages may not be available on all carriers or devices.

9. Your privacy

Your mobile number and consent record are used only to deliver the messages described above and to honor your opt-out. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes, and text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, other than the messaging provider strictly necessary to transmit the message. 10. Changes

We may update these terms. Changes are posted here with a revised date, and material changes will be communicated to employer administrators.
